Overview
Proprio Paradigm is an FDA-cleared navigation platform that leverages advanced sensors, compute, and AI to create a real-time 3D model of anatomy during surgery. It employs computer vision and light-field imaging for segmental registration, continuously tracking anatomy without block-based approximations or repeated imaging. The system generates structured, standardized data throughout the procedure, powering longitudinal learning, objective case documentation, training initiatives, and a surgical data network. Paradigm integrates into existing surgical workflows and aims to deliver radiation-free measurements of spinal alignment, disc height, and segmental angles directly in the OR. It supports workflow optimization, safety programs, clinical training, and institutional learning. Proprio's AI foundation model is built upon contributions from numerous surgeons, enabling continuous learning and unprecedented insight. The platform is implant agnostic and aims to increase capacity, standardize performance, and build competitive advantages for health systems.
