Mod Assistant is a PC-based mod installer designed specifically for the popular VR game Beat Saber. It streamlines the process of installing, updating, and uninstalling mods, making it easier for players to customize their gaming experience. The application automatically resolves dependencies between mods, detects installed mods, and supports OneClick™ installation from BeatMods. The tool also includes a complex theming engine that allows users to customize the look and feel of the mod installer itself. Upon initial launch, the application moves existing mods into an 'Old' folder to prevent version conflicts. Its architecture is based on C# and designed to interact with the Beat Saber game files, simplifying a process that is otherwise manual and prone to errors. ModAssistant leverages the BeatMods repository as its primary source for mods and related metadata.
