Overview
D-NeRF is a neural rendering technique that extends NeRF (Neural Radiance Fields) to model dynamic scenes. It learns a deformable volumetric function from a sparse set of monocular views without requiring ground-truth geometry or multi-view images. The architecture involves training a neural network to represent the scene's radiance and density as functions of 3D location and time. A deformation network warps the 3D coordinates based on the input time, allowing the model to account for non-rigid movements. Use cases include synthesizing novel views of moving objects, creating realistic animations, and enabling virtual reality experiences in dynamic environments. The code is implemented in PyTorch and builds heavily upon the NeRF-pytorch codebase. Pre-trained weights and datasets are available for download to facilitate testing and training.
